Things you should think to yourself...

...And not ask people:

"Were you malnourished as a child?"

Today sucked.

Spent the whole day at school debugging code/hardware for my project, then went for a drug test for work, then got a flu shot. Then when I got a flu shot, the nurse told me that I needed a tetanus shot so I got one of those too.

Summary of today:
1) MOTHER @&*@(#&! HOLY PIECE OF !&*((#&* DIE
2) Pee in a cup
3) Man, my left arm is sore
4) Eff! Now my right arm is sore too.

Freaky Friday

I think I'm coming to the point in my life where the parents start becoming the kids and the kids start becoming the parents. It's kind of scary.

Whatever doesn't kill you...

...Will make you stronger. And leave you a little crazier.

Rant of the Day

These are the most effin' deceptive candies ever.

I needed some studying candy, so I went to Target for some sugar. These spice drops were on sale, so I bought a bag. Then I went to Barnes and Noble to read my book.

I ripped into the bag and pulled out a red spice drop because, well, red candies are supposed to taste good. Usually, red candies are cherry or strawberry flavored, and in the worst case, they're cinnamon flavored. I actually don't mind cinnamon, so red candies are a safe bet.

Supposedly.

I bit into it, and it tasted like black licorice! WTF. So I ate a purple one, and it tasted like less intense black licorice. The only ones that tasted good/like what they were supposed to taste like were the green ones (spearmint, still a little weird) and the orange ones (orange, duh). So now I have a bag of spice drops missing all of the green and orange ones. I guess I can throw them at people or give them to little kids I don't like.

Now I know why they use these little pieces of crap for molecule projects in high school chemistry classes. No one wants to eat them.

Books I Need to Read

This is more of a reminder to myself:

Ender in Exile - Orson Scott Card
The Secret Life of Bees - Sue Monk Kidd
Watchmen Comics
Look Me in the Eye: My Life With Asperger's - John Robison

I'll keep adding

repost. sorta.

The grape lady makes me laugh. A lot. Which was why last night's family guy makes me happy:

Two new ones

Dreams, that is:

1) I was arguing with my mom about things in my family that are taboo to talk about, and it was kind of refreshing because they've been weighing me down lately. I was mad to the point of tears though. Therapeutic dreams, anyone?

2) My friend was giving me a really bad haircut. I'm pretty sure this one was symbolic for something, but iono what yet. I do need a haircut though.

Not everyone should vote

This happened like 2 minutes ago:

I have the election coverage open on my laptop, and my mom walks in:

Mom: Whatchya doing? Sleeping? *I do work on my bed
Me: No. I'm doing work. And following the election.
Mom: Oh. Oh hey...Bin Laden is really ahead!
Me: ...

She actually wasn't joking, but then she realized what she said was really stupid and we bust out laughing. Aiya

We rock

It's not done yet, but it's about 90% of the way there. This is our project for a mechatronics design class. We made a horizontal leveler.

Translation:
Me: Ok.
Sarah: So we need the 7414 buffer...blah blah blah
Me: My video's cooler than Sarah's!
Sarah: Shuttup.
Alvin: NOT!!!
Everyone: Hahahahahaha
Sarah: Fail Fail!
Alvin: Make yours change directions.
Everyone: Hahaha
Sarah: *Sings "Lucky" by Mr. AZ

Hah!

I had to watch this twice to appreciate it. Then I watched it 8 more times.
