TLC, not tasty little crackers

Wow. Thank you God for this marvelous 21st birthday. A final, a drug/alcohol test, and a sunburn. What else you got for me?

Dogs ARE smrt

My dog, Suki, is normally the feistiest little bitch (it's techinically correct here) ever and doesn't like new people. As soon as they come in, she starts barking, and if they try to hold her, she snaps at them, starts shivering, and/or tries to get away.

That's why what just happened is sooooo weird. An old family friend just came to visit, and what shocked us all was that Suki didn't bark once AND even jumped into the friend's lap and sat there for a while, calm as ever. It's the first time she's ever done anything like that. She still doesn't even like my dad.

I've always heard that dogs are smart and they can tell when people like them, but I never thought it applied to chihuahuas--they're mean as hell to everyone. Our friend is at med school studying to become a pediatrician, she loves animals, and she's the gentlest, sweetest person ever. It's weird, but I think Suki picked up on that. I'm still in shock.

Ivan is a...

Corporate whore. I got a summer internship with Bechtel, and I'm gonna be working on the BART retrofitting project for earthquake safety. Woohoo.
This has been such a crazy semester, with all the stuff that went down at school and at home. Surprisingly, everything looks like it's tying together nicely. Go figure.

What the deuce.

Something really really pissed me off today and this is what resulted during fluids lecture. It's pretty funny now. I'll rant about it later when it doesn't matter anymore.
