Awesome birthday surprises, graduating in 3 and a half hours, and flying to London in 24 hours. I will be updating my blog, just not "live." I plan to take notes in a journal, and post things when I can or in the weeks after I get back.
Shoot. I know I'm forgetting something.

Quadrupleganger
People keep coming up to me - at work, school, the gym - asking me:
1) If they know me from somewhere
2) If my name is ______ (so far I've gotten Mike, Chris, and Steve)
3) If I go to their school because they think they have a class with me
Does this happen to everybody, or do I have four twins (yeah, I know that doesn't make sense) running around Berkeley, Oakland, and Pleasant Hill?
Another fun scenario: My real parents had quadruplets and weren't able to raise all of us so they gave three of us up for adoption.
ANYWAY. If you see any of my twins try to get their info because I wanna see them in person.

Milk Dud Cupcakes
I'm experimenting right now. I've got a potluck to go to tomorrow, and I'm bringing dessert. I wasn't sure what to make, so I looked in the pantry and found yellow cake mix, milk duds, and frosting. I guess it's easy to figure out what I did next, but here's my pseudo-recipe anyway:
Ingredients:
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 cup of water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
48 milk duds
1 can of chocolate frosting
Directions:
1) Prepare the cake mix according to the directions on the box.
2) Line two 12 cupcake pans.
3) Fill each liner about 1/2 full.
4) Place a milk dud in the center of each 1/2 full liner.
5) Fill the liners up to about 2/3 full.
6) Bake according to the box directions.
7) Cool completely before frosting.
8) Place 1 more milk dud on top of each cupcake.
I'm at step 7 right now, but look out for pictures tomorrow after I frost them and eat one (hey, gotta make sure they're not poisonous, right?)

Swine Flew
Wow. I totally just drew a blank.
[2 minutes later]
Ok. I'm back (I remember what I wanted to say).
I started feeling like I was catching a cold, so when I got home from work/school today I boiled a pot of water with a lot of sliced ginger and honey in it. It's my secret Asian remedy for EVERYTHING.
Then I drank it all and peed a lot (you must flush out the germs!). My mom came home (yeah, I still live with my mom), realized I wasn't feeling that well because of the smell of ginger in the house, and was like, "You should try this thing for colds: A whole garlic clove with a spoonful of honey."
Hmm..., I thought. I have to teach at Lawrence Hall of Science tomorrow for one of my classes, and I really don't wanna feel worse tomorrow than I do now. It can't hurt, right?
WRONG. It went down almost as bad as fish liver oil (another thing you should never try), and now my stomach feels like two pirate ships are duking it out inside. The worst thing is that I probably just have to wait it out because I don't feel like yakking or going diarrhea. Great. That's probably too much info already so I'll stop there.
This is random, but here are two things I'm excited for that will happen in less than three weeks:
1) I'm graduating! It's kind of sad at the same time, though, because a lot of people are moving away. I hate goodbyes/seeing people I like less frequently.
2) I'm going to Europe! It's my dream trip from London to Athens. I still have to get some stuff/plan a little. My goal is to pack as light and sleep as little as possible.
I'll end with two bad jokes:
1) Why don't they need employee parking at the Home Depot?
It'd just be overkill with all that handicapped parking.
2) I went out and got Indian food for lunch today...
...Came back with a Slurpee and a Subway sandwich.
It's all in good fun - I hope to offend everybody at least once. I just had to put these down because they've been floating in my head for the last few days...I can't remember if I came up with them myself or if I heard them somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if someone said them first. Anyway, if you have any [GOOD] Asian jokes I'd be happy to hear them. None of that throwing a fork down the stairs business.
*I wish I came up with the picture/pun for the flying pig. I saw it on a shirt on the news. Thought it was pretty clever.

Exhausted...
...But this is the first time in a while that I'm, well, happy. Just had to make a note of it.

Random random
They should make a rule against making shampoo that smells this good. If this was around when I was a little kid they probably woulda had to pump my stomach cuz I drank the whole bottle.
...Which reminds me of another "weird little kid" trait I had - I used to put my sisters' lipsmackers on the palm of my hand and lick it all off. Probably explains a lot.
Good Weekend
Nothing super out of the ordinary. Planned the Europe trip a little (CAN'T WAIT), went to PCN at Cal (ok, a little out of the ordinary), submitted a bunch of grad school stuff, and got a whole lot of work done (ok, super out of the ordinary). Good, good. Good God.
I've been really happy lately. I think it's the weather + friends + life.

Just a note
1) Why do my hands smell like Jello?
2) Today was so busy but sooo good!
a) Ate dinner with my Grandma, who had more energy than usual. That's good.
b) The Gospel Choir performance was really fun, and for a good cause - supporting those dealing with breast cancer! I'm uploading videos as we speak. I think I added the link to my youtube videos in the sidebar...
c) College meeting was good.
d) I caught up with DHuh and Rya (Graduated!). We're getting so old...haha
3) I'm pretty tired. Nite!
